I’ve had my CCTV system for seven years, but recently, I lost the connection to my mobile. I reached out to a couple of companies, and they all told me I needed to upgrade, suggesting I spend at least $2,000–$3,000 for a decent system. Thankfully, my neighbour recommended VIP Security. I spoke with Zoltan, who truly understood my issue and didn’t try to sell me a new system. Instead, I booked a service call, and he sent Thomas. In no time, Thomas identified the problem—my newly installed modem. He quickly reconfigured the system to work with the new modem, and I happily paid the $285 service fee. Thomas was a fantastic young professional, and my wife and I are thrilled that we saved thousands of dollars. Thank you, VIP Security, and a big thank you to Thomas! ~ Adam A

I plucked VIP out of a Google search and was so lucky I did. From the moment the owner reached out, I knew I was in safe hands. He sent his technician out who was a true gentleman. He worked efficiently but was also up for a friendly chat, which made us feel at ease. Another tech (the owner’s son) came to put the finishing touches on our system and clearly explained the App functionality to us. Between the three guys, we couldn’t have been happier with the service and the system installed. It’s also reassuring that they are available for any queries post installation! I never do reviews, but just had to for VIP because they were so great. I highly recommend them and feel more secure with the system installed place. ~ MJ G

Very professional service provider. Zoltan was a great help with selecting the perfect Bosch alarm system for our home. He was very professional and courteous, giving us excellent service which was lacking greatly from another business we contacted in Melbourne. David then came to our home and installed our alarm, giving excellent advice which was very beneficial. The installation was fast and professional, David cleared the packaging, set the alarm up and walked us through using it in an easy to understand way. Contacted VIP for a new alarm system for my home & spoke with the owner Zoltan & had a paradox system installed within a week. Unfortunately the system was faulty & I contacted Zoltan to advise it wasn’t working. John the engineer came back to look at it & tried to repair it but then recommended a different system- Bosch hybrid. John is an absolute legend! Extremely skilled, friendly & knowledgeable about what would best work in my home & this week came back again to install the brand new Bosch system which is brilliant. It’s extremely easy to use, key fobs & alarm pad are excellent & it’s just such peace of mind to have a fully working alarm system. Thank you very much Zoltan & John. Highly recommend! ~ T F

Update: I needed an additional security camera so I reached out to VIP again. The team was helpful and easy to deal with. Arranged my install right away and John came to install the camera. Have to admit that John is one of the nicest people I've ever met. His so genuinely helpful. He even fixed the latch on my gate that wouldnt open while he was here. Very satisfied with the services provided. Zoltan walked me through the the security features and explained the details in a simple to understand manner. Was provided with a quote shortly after and any of my queries were promptly responded to. Upon acceptance of the quote, Zoltan was able to send in their team within 2 days. The installers were very professional, courteous and friendly. They were able to advise on any technical questions I had and address any concerns. Great system at an even better price UPDATE 30/03/2023 Just had the VIP crew come out and replace the old 4MP system to a amazing 4K!! HIK CCTV system and im loving it UPDATE 26/04/2024 JUST GOT THE NEW HIKVISION CAMERA WITH STROBE LIGHT AND SIREN and its awesome and gives me a peace of mind at night time UPDATE 12/02/2026 Back again with the VIP crew 🔥 Upgraded the system again this time to the new Hikvision AcuSeek AI NVR and the difference is next level. The smart search is insane. Instead of scrolling through hours of footage, you literally just search by person or vehicle and it finds it in seconds. Still running the 4K cameras with strobe + siren for active deterrence but now the AI side of it is on another level. ~ Thomas

VIP Security Services have just installed a HiLook 6MP security camera system at our home and the process could not have been better. From our first phone call and contact with Zoltan through to installation by his professional, friendly and knowledgeable team (John & Tom installed our system) great old fashioned service with a smile, along with all the advice and technical know how to install and setup perfectly. Cannot speak more highly of my experience in replacing my home alarm with VIP Security. After doing my online research and looking at the reviews, I know I made a great choice. Working with Zoltan and discussing my needs, we worked through the options to get to a point where I was happy with the configuration. I took my time, and Zoltan was always more than willing to re-explain and he was never pushy and left it up to me to make the final call. At first I thought a rating of 4.8 from 308 reviews (now 309) was too good to be true. But I can confirm that my experience has been like the vast majority of others - very satisfying. It’s becoming increasingly difficult these days to get good, honest, and efficient service, but that’s exactly what these guys deliver. Having received a quote elsewhere that suggested a whole new alarm system, you were able to upgrade some of the components to the Bosch 3000 (with smart phone access) to get my alarm working again. I got my new handed over to me on Friday and was keen to get an alarm system installed as soon as possible. I called up VIP Security on Thursday (day before handover) and asked to have it done the coming weekend and they were able to accommodate me and the system was installed on Sunday! Dave came over for the installation and was a very friendly guy who had the system up and running in 3 hrs or so and guided us through the operation of it and answered all our questions. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with VIP security service. The sales consultant was very professional and knowledgable over the phone. The price quoted was far more reasonable than thes ones I've obtained from 4 other companies (more than 1.5k cheaper for the same brand/spec). Jeremy came to install the system a day later. Got the job done in 2 hours, demonstrated the system with patience and clean up well afterward. Will definitely return in future to sort out security need for my other home.
